Pink and Brown Nursery

I thought I knew just the room I would design should I ever have the chance to decorate a little girls room, but then I came across this simply BEAUTIFUL nursery by Mad City Interiors on Design Dazzle. I blogged about my love for this argyle and damask nursery , which I still adore, but I am in love with the rich chocolate walls and pale pink damask window treatment in this nursery.

Hot Pink and Damask

Damask is easily my favorite pattern and I love black and white. The combination together just exudes a classy style. Here are some ideas I put together for a girls room using black and white damask with pops of hot pink.

Archer's Nursery

I'm thrilled to finally be sharing with you the nursery my friend Shelly designed for her son Archer. She did an amazing job and it is gorgeous! Her inspiration for colors came from this room here, then she bought two wooden owls from the hospital gift shop and the owl theme was born. Over the next few weeks she searched Etsy shops for just the right wall accents and additional touches . Shelly put so much love and thought into Archer's room. I wish you all could see it in person because the colors are amazing and my pictures don't quite do it justice.

Below his name it reads... For this child I prayed and the lord answered my prayer. Samuel 1:27

The owls from the hospital gift shop. The vintage nursery blocks her mother in law found in an antique store in New York { i love them! }

The crib bedding is Latte by Glenna Jean

The numerical canvas wall hangings were painted by a friend of her mom's. She did an awesome job.

Playroom Mailbox

I am head over heels for this mailbox that Cheri from I Am Momma Bear Hear Me Roar put in the super cute playroom she designed for her kiddos. I saw it on Design Dazzle and immediately fell in love with the idea. She leaves the boys cards, notes, and other small presents inside. Too stinkin cute. We need one of these in our playroom Stat!! You can see more photos here.

Nautical With a Twist

I have always been partial to the Nautical theme for a boys room. My oldest son Connor's nursery was decorated with a nautical theme. I really like the idea of pairing celery green as an accent color as opposed to the traditional red, white and, blue color scheme. Most of these items are from Rosenberry Rooms, but I frequently see coastal and nautical decor items at TJ Maxx. And, you can't beat TJ Maxx prices!

Argyle + Damask = GORGEOUS

Beautiful color palette... check. Stylish patterns... check. This room just has all the right stuff! I found it on Design Dazzle . You can find the details on this room as well as the paint colors here. If I ever have a little girl this is the kind of room I envision her having. Sweet and sophisticated.

Here are some additional sweet items I've come across. I am in love with the customizable nursery blocks! You can pick your colors and add any text you want. So cute!
