{ Real Parties } LumberJack and Jill Couples Shower

This LumberJack and Jill couples shower by Frilly Milly Events is one of the most creative and fun events I've seen. I spotted it at P is for Party, and those of you who frequent blog-land have probably already seen this shower as it has been getting a lot of "blog love", and rightfully so! But, I wanted to share it for those who may not have had a chance to enjoy it. Frilly Milly Events did an AMAZING job with the details. Seriously...the corn, do you love it?! And the photo booth is adorable! You can see more pics here!

Hot Pink and Damask

Damask is easily my favorite pattern and I love black and white. The combination together just exudes a classy style. Here are some ideas I put together for a girls room using black and white damask with pops of hot pink.

{ Featured Party } Chutes & Ladders

This adorable Chutes and Ladders party is from Tiffany of From Pedicures to Puddles. What an original theme! It stems from her son Cohen's love of climbing and sliding...how cute is that?! The ever creative Pen & Paper Flowers designed the invite complete with a working spinner!

Chutes and Ladders cut outs. What a fun and creative photo op!

Love the color coordinating IZZE drinks and polka dots lunch boxes.

Each family took home a Chutes and Ladders game. Guests were also given personalized bubbles. ( Great personalized detail! )

I love the bright and cheerful dessert table backdrop!

That cake is too cute! Great job Tiffany! Such great inspiration!

{ Featured Party } Croquet Bridal Shower

How fun and fabulous is this croquet bridal shower I came across on Ruffled?!! I love it for several reasons. The first being that it is not your typical bridal shower luncheon. I'm always impressed when people think outside the box when it comes to planning an event. Second, it is overflowing with vintage chic flair. Lastly, I LOVE croquet! I play a mean game of croquet ( and don't ever let my brother's tell you any different ;) )

" Fin " tastic Inspiration

I've been gathering ideas for a shark themed birthday party for my son's birthday party coming up this winter. Since Connor and Parker's birthdays are not only right in the middle of the holidays ( Connor's is Christmas Day ) but also close together I've decided to do a combined party this year. It truly simplifies things for me and since Parker is still little he won't know the difference :). Connor is crazy about sharks so we have chosen that as our theme. I've settled on a light ocean blue, red, and gray color palette. I've got some great ideas going in my little head and can't wait to get them going. Send any "fin" tastic inspiration you might have or see my way!
