This past week I spent some time out of town visiting with family. My cousin Peyton who's family we stayed with is having her 10th birthday party this Saturday. Peyton's mom Brandi had started the planning and bought some super cute tikki and flip flop decor, and I jumped at the chance to add a few last minute details. We hit up the Dollar Store and Michael's for supplies. I started out with putting together a flip flop banner. We literally traced a flip flop onto foam sheets, cut out straps from coordinating scrapbook paper, cut out letters, and attached them to the foam flip flops. Lastly we added flower sticker embellishments. It was way easy and very cute!
I picked up these signs at the Dollar store and my jr. assistants promptly went to work painting them. We had so much fun staying up eating popcorn and crafting! I also had the pleasure of introducing them to the fabulous tissue poms. Aren't my assistant's the cutest! We also made fondant flip flops for the cupcakes which I'll feature later.
Thanks Cameron, Peyton, Connor, Nonna, and Brandi for letting me satisfy my affection for detail and being great helpers!!
It was so fun with Brandi and the kids...how great it is sharing quality time, and, creating memories that last forever with your family!!
