It's hard to believe the 4th of July is just around the corner. I loved how these treats were all so simple yet pack some visual punch. I like the idea of having delicious and appealing treats without having to slave for too long to make them. Especially on holidays!
I came across the watermelon pops and the patriotic drink onFamily Fun. The drink is made by simply filling ice cube trays with colored beverages such as gatorade and powerade, freezing then adding lemon lime soda or ginger ale. Cute and refreshing!
And how delicious does this berry pound cake from Martha look?? You could simplify it even more and buy a poundcake loaf and add the toppings.
These Parfaits from Martha would be great for kids or adults.
And another easy dessert fromMartha. American Flag cupcakes with licorice stripes.
Let me know if you have any great patriotic recipes!
