1 package (10 ounces) peanut butter chips
2 packages (13 ounces each) miniature peanut butter cups
4 cups cold 2% milk
2 packages (5.1 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup creamy peanut butter
4 teaspoons vanilla extract

{ Featured Party } Chocolorette Bachelorette Party

This party was sent to me by Juliet from Stylish Celebrations. I featured the darling circus party she did for her boys last week. She created the paper goods for this ultra sweet bachelorette party for her friend Trish . I immediately fell in love with the theme. You just can't go wrong with a theme that is centered around chocolate!

The brides wedding colors are green and brown and the girls kept with that color palette when planning the Chocolorette party. Fabulous I tell you!

The spa featured individual chocolate masque packets, body lotion, and nail polish in various shades of chocolate.

Each of the girls signed a keepsake plate for the bride that they later had finished at a pottery shop.

YUMMMMMM! Smores bar and chocolate martinis

I am a sucker for personalized detail. Love the drink tags!

Each of the girls received customized flip flops from Jelly Bean Bowtique, Philosophy chocolate cookie dough bath wash, chocolate lip balm, ring pops, and customized embroidered can koozies from Velvet Petals. I adore the pink damask can koozie! And, chocolate cookie dough wash from Philosophy... could it get any better??

Amazing party girls!!!!! Trish is one lucky bride. Thanks for sharing!!!

Nautical With a Twist

I have always been partial to the Nautical theme for a boys room. My oldest son Connor's nursery was decorated with a nautical theme. I really like the idea of pairing celery green as an accent color as opposed to the traditional red, white and, blue color scheme. Most of these items are from Rosenberry Rooms, but I frequently see coastal and nautical decor items at TJ Maxx. And, you can't beat TJ Maxx prices!

Tate...Coming soon to a Crib Near You

My cousin Alma is expecting a baby boy this fall. They have chosen to name the baby Tate... so cute!. It is going to be a rock star baby shower and I have put together a couple of inspiration boards. I really like the style of the invite, but I think we would like it to say Tate Zahniser Coming Soon to a Crib Near You! I love the houndstooth with pops of blue throughout the theme. And, how clever is the potty sign! Send any good rock star baby ideas you see or have our way!

Circus Party

How adorable is this circus party Juliet of Stylish Celebrations created for her two boys. I met Juliet when she created Parker's ONE-Hundred Acre Woods Party invitations and accessories. The circus accessories she used for this party are available in her etsy shop . She also has many other adorable themes, invites, and save the date cards for sale in her shop. Juliet is super creative and a gem to work with!

I love the circus theme! Circus/carnival themes are so much fun. My son Connor's 4th birthday party was a carnival theme. Someday I'll get my pictures organized and post them. Enjoy Chase and Carter's party under the big top!

Great party Juliet! Thanks for letting me share it.

Argyle + Damask = GORGEOUS

Beautiful color palette... check. Stylish patterns... check. This room just has all the right stuff! I found it on Design Dazzle . You can find the details on this room as well as the paint colors here. If I ever have a little girl this is the kind of room I envision her having. Sweet and sophisticated.

Here are some additional sweet items I've come across. I am in love with the customizable nursery blocks! You can pick your colors and add any text you want. So cute!

Fourth of July Goodies

It's hard to believe the 4th of July is just around the corner. I loved how these treats were all so simple yet pack some visual punch. I like the idea of having delicious and appealing treats without having to slave for too long to make them. Especially on holidays!

I came across the watermelon pops and the patriotic drink on Family Fun. The drink is made by simply filling ice cube trays with colored beverages such as gatorade and powerade, freezing then adding lemon lime soda or ginger ale. Cute and refreshing!

And how delicious does this berry pound cake from Martha look?? You could simplify it even more and buy a poundcake loaf and add the toppings.

These Parfaits from Martha would be great for kids or adults.

And another easy dessert from Martha. American Flag cupcakes with licorice stripes.

Let me know if you have any great patriotic recipes!

"ONE" Hundred Acre Woods

Today's post is from my son Parker's 1st Birthday last November. It was a "ONE" Hundred Acre Woods party. It was recently featured on P is for Party. Christi has an amazing blog with great features. I was incredibly honored to be featured. Be sure to stop by P is for Party, you'll be glad you did!
I went with a classic Pooh theme with warm browns and golds. Juliet from Stylish Celebrations created the invitations, favor tags, bag toppers, happy birthday banner, and circles for the party hats I made. She was wonderful to work with and had great ideas. By the way this was my first attempt at making party hats. I'm kinda addicted now. The possibilities are endless!
For lunch we served sandwiches, "piglets" in a blanket, and vegetables fresh from rabbits garden. Beverages included Parker's root beer ( found at our local Safeway...so perfect ) and bottled water with custom labels. For dessert we had beehive cupcakes, chocolate dipped brownie bites, and the most adorable cake made by my mom ( with engineering support from my dad ).
The kiddos played drop the bee in the honeypot. I collected over the summer ( yes I was planning it that early ;) ) terra cotta pots which I painted to look like hunny pots. The bees were painted clothespins. Then they hunted for eyore tails I had made and hid around the house. Lastly they played drop a potato from rabbits garden in the basket. They were fun games and the kids loved them. Favors for the kids were hobo sacks made out of red bandanna fabric and tied to the end of a wooden dowel. They turned out adorable! Adults took home bags of Reece's pieces. The bag topper read " thank you for coming to Parker's party. Hope you had a hunny of a time". It's hard to believe he's going to be 2 before I know it!
